You will have ample opportunities to share and show the Love of Christ to the campers, by one-on-one, in your Cabin Pow-Wow, or at a campfire!

Staff Training Dates: June 12 - June 21, 2024
Summer Camp Dates: June 23 - August 10, 2024
STAFF POSITIONS

Counselor

Head Counselor: This role is preformed by someone with previous counselor experience. They have the responsibility of leading and representing the Counselors to the Program Staff. Your goal would be to ensure the Counseling Staff has the information, tools and support necessary to carry out their duties as a counselor. We are looking for someone who will be a role model amongst his peers, and ability to pour their lives into the Counseling Staff. Previous Counselor experience is strongly preferred for this position. (Summer Salary: $1,500/Summer)

Camp Counselor:
A Camp Counselor is a fun loving, Godly leader who will work with a group of 8-10 campers per week. They are responsible for the overall well being; physically, emotionally and spiritually, of each camper. In addition, they will teach or assist in a few specific skill areas. Must be 18 years of age and finished 12th grade.  The Camp Counselor is the most vital role in camp! (Summer Salary: $1,500/Summer)
STAFF POSITIONS

Support Staff

This team provides the support for the Camp Counselor and Campers. They have the responsibility of the daily operations and maintenance, which enables camp to run smoothly, safely and effectively.
Program Director: Provide leadership and direction of the Summer Program. Includes oversight and execution of all Camp Wide Activities, i.e. Morning Assembly, Celebration, Meal Times, Director Specials, and Late Nights. Previous Camp Experience is required. (Summer Salary: $1,500)

Tower Monitor: The Tower Monitor oversees instruction and facilitation of our Alpine Tower Skills and Activity. This individual has extensive knowledge, expertise in the area of climbing, ropes, and working with others. Must be 18 years of age. (Summer Salary: $1,500)

Head Wrangler: Oversees the Horsemanship Program, making sure the campers have a fun and safe time interacting with the horses. Qualifications: Extensive Horse experience, 18 years of age, and approved by Camp Director. (Summer Salary: $1,500/Summer)

Assistant Wrangler: Assist Head Wrangler with the Horsemanship Program, making sure the campers have a fun and safe time interacting with the horses. Qualifications: Extensive Horse experience, 18 years of age. (Summer Salary: $1,500)

Ranch Hands: Provide support to our Camp Program as needed. Includes facilities cleaning, mowing, driving, garbage removal, etc. In addition, provide support for large camp games, and activities. (Summer Salary: $1,500)

Life Guard: The Life Guard oversees the program at the pool making sure the campers have a fun and safe time at the pool. Qualifications: Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and Camp Director approval. (Can be a Counselor and Lifeguard)
STAFF POSITIONS

Media Team

Members of the Media Team have the unique opportunity to use their creative and technical skills to serve the overall mission of MAPLERIDGE Ranch. This team is an integral part of camp. They have the responsibility of making programs memorable and fun by creating ways for parents to be engaged in camp while their children are away.
Photographer: A camp photographer will primarily be responsible for capturing high quality images of all campers, activities, special events, and staff. Qualifications: Experience with portraits, landscapes, sports photography. Portfolio required. Applicants must be 18 years old. (Summer Salary: $1,500/Summer)

Videographer: The camp videographer will be responsible for helping to tell the camp’s story and tailoring that message to an eager parent audience. The camp videographer will be capturing and processing high quality video of all campers, activities, special events, and staff. Qualifications: Basic understanding of video hardware and programs, excellent organizational skills, understanding of event video and familiarity with camera settings, light, framing, editing, etc. Portfolio required. Applicants must be 18 years old. (Summer Salary: $1,500/Summer)
